Hey! Welcome to my Tattooing Website! I’m excited to get the chance to work with you!
I’ll be honest, since the moment I could judge and pick up a pencil I’ve been OBSESSED with making art of all kinds, and I’ve been even more excited by the mediums that help me collaborate with other people which may be why I graduated with a degree in film production and also it may be what I love most about tattooing. And while I know you’re here looking to get some great art on your skin I also know that it may help if you know the kind of person you’d be collaborating with before you hit that schedule a consultation button, so here are a few things about me and what to expect when you come in for a tattoo.
If you googled me basketball player would probably be the first thing to come up on your search, yes that was me, and no I will not play you 1v1 (until after your tattoo is fully healed of course). Aside from that, I am a weirdo, obsessed with Steve Martin’s pinnacle film, The Pink Panther, (and no one can convince me that that film is not the answer to any problem). When I’m not creating artsy things you’ll most likely find me writing, working with horses, reading a book, snuggling my cat, coaching basketball, or playing video games.
I designed tattoos for friends and family long before I ever considered doing it myself. I didn’t think that I would fit the persona of what I imagined when I heard tattoo artist so that held me away from this business for a while, and I’m so glad that’s not the case anymore! I like to say that I’m an artist that also tattoos, so don’t be surprised when you see a variety of art forms around my studio and/or on my different social media accounts.
My goal with my tattoo studio is to provide a space for anyone who sets foot inside it to feel confident, encouraged, welcomed and celebrated. The tattoo designs I have available are often made as reminders of the beautiful connections and the power in reflective symbols.
Having been raised by psychologists and counselors I think I unofficially have my PHD in listening, so if you come in and want to chat I am more than happy to hear your thoughts (just know that I have not yet mastered the art of responding while concentrating on pulling those nice lines, so be patient with me). If you don’t want to chat, no worries at all! Just bring whatever will make you most comfortable like a blanket, headphones, iPad, etc, as long as it won’t interfere with the area I will be working on, it should work. I do have a rule against bringing a friend into the studio for few reasons, one of them being I work faster if there are less people in the studio, and another reason being that we want your tattoo to be YOUR tattoo, they can enjoy it when your session is over. A few other things you should know before moving forward is that I am not one to tattoo the neck or head, and I will not tattoo religious iconography.
I’m really excited to get the chance to work with you! Schedule a consultation and I will get back to you as soon as I am able!
